The early ’70s were very good to Tiger Beat. Bobby Sherman ushered in the new decade as the top cover boy, often sharing the cover with Davy Jones, Sajid Khan, the Mod Squad and Jack Wild. In September of 1970, "The Partidge Family" made its television debut, and David Cassidy began his 4-year reign as King of the Teen Idols. The Osmonds released ther first Rock album in 1971, and joined the ranks of one of the most popular Teen acts in history. Donny Osmond proved to be a fave on his own, and remained on the covers until the end of the decade.
